Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana A Step Toward Your Dream Home

Owning a home in Pakistan is not easy for most families. Property prices are very high, construction costs keep rising, and getting a loan is also difficult. Because of this, many people still don’t have their own homes. Pakistan is facing a housing shortage of more than 10 million homes.

To help solve this problem, the government introduced the Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana scheme.

What is this scheme?

The Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana scheme was launched in 2025. It is supported by the State Bank of Pakistan. The main goal is to help people—especially first-time buyers—get affordable loans to buy or build their own homes.

Banks like commercial banks, Islamic banks, microfinance banks, and House Building Finance Company Limited are offering these loans.

The best part is that the loan has low markup (interest) and easy monthly payments.
