General Policy

Makaans.com provides real estate services including property buying, selling, renting, and advisory services. Due to the nature of our services, most fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered. However, we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis under specific circumstances.

Non-Refundable Services

The following services are typically non-refundable:

  • Consultation/advisory fees
  • Property valuation fees
  • Listing placement fees
  • Marketing/promotion fees
  • Any services already rendered

Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests may be considered in these exceptional cases:

  • Duplicate payment processing
  • Technical errors in payment processing
  • Cancellation of service before any work has begun (subject to 15% processing fee)
  • Failure to deliver agreed services (requires written proof)

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Submit written request to info@makaans.com within 7 days of payment
  2. Include:
    • Transaction ID
    • Payment receipt
    • Detailed reason for refund request
  3. Allow 7-10 business days for review
  4. Approved refunds will be processed to original payment method within 14 days

Special Cases

  • Property Transactions: Earnest money/deposits are subject to terms in individual contracts
  • Third-Party Services: Any services provided by partners are governed by their policies
  • Force Majeure: No refunds for delays/cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances
